Everbliss Green | The 4th Global Semiconductor Industry (Chongqing) Expo Review

The 4th Global Semiconductor Industry and Electronics Technology (Chongqing) Expo was held at the Chongqing International Expo Centre from 29 June to 1 July.

The expo was supported by the China Electronics Society, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission, and co-organised by Chongqing Electronics Society, Sichuan Electronics Society, Chongqing Semiconductor Industry Association and Chongqing Power Supply Society.

 

 

The 4th Future Semiconductor Industry Development Conference was jointly organised by Chongqing Economic Development Zone and Qualcomm China - CSCIC, with a panel discussion on "IC Design, Packaging & Testing, High Performance Power & Electric Vehicle Technology, Smartphone Chips, Automotive Chips, and Investment in the Semiconductor Industry in Sichuan and Chongqing".

 

 

 Cao Xueqin, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), said in his speech at the conference that in the future, advanced semiconductor manufacturing will become even more important. Against the background of increased uncertainty in the macro environment such as trade frictions, accelerating import substitution and realizing independent and controllable semiconductor industry has been elevated to a national strategic level, which has brought new opportunities and challenges to the development of China's semiconductor industry.
